EMBRACE

Usually the posts that I see on my Facebook news feed are about food, pandas, things which are just for laughs and irrelevant posts which just brings negative vibes to the universe. Like it’s rare for me to see posts of other people which could contribute to the society, and I HONESTLY appreciate people who shares posts which could encourage the youth or could inspire millions of people on social media.

So I saw someone shared a video entitled “Perfect Body.” It’s a video wherein a woman (Taryn Brumfitt) asked a hundred women to give her one word to describe their bodies.

Here’s the link of the video that I found on facebook:

I really find the video inspiring; knowing that there are people out their with disabilities, appreciates their bodies. It’s great to see and to hear people embracing differences and sees the brighter ans sweeter side of life.

After seeing the video I make a quick research about Taryn Brumfitt and to my surprise the first thing that popped was that there’s an official trailer entitled “EMBRACE” which of course Brumfitt is feautured. Embrace is Β about when Body Image Activist Taryn Brumfitt posted an unconventional before-and-after photo in 2013 it was seen by more than 100 million people worldwide and sparked an international media frenzy. EMBRACE follows Taryn’s crusade as she explores the global issue of body loathing, inspiring us to change the way we feel about ourselves and think about our bodies.

HONESTLY, THAT VIDEO NEEDS TO BE PREACHED! WE NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE TARYN BRUMFITT IN THE UNIVERSE!

I HOPE EVERYONE WHO WATCHES THE VIDEO WILL BE INSPIRED TO EMBRACE DIFFERENCE AND TO LEARN TO LOVE AND TO APPRECIATE THEIR BODIES.
