HOW TO MAKE MEXICAN HOT CHOCOLATE

If you want to prepare spicy Mexican hot chocolate first bring milk to a simmer over medium heat for 5-6 minutes in a small saucepan.

Add the cocoa powder, cinnamon, chocolate chips, honey and salt to the hot milk.

Whisk well until mixture is thoroughly combined and slightly frothy, about one minute.

Divide among four mugs and garnish the Mexican spicy hot chocolate with freshly grated nutmeg.
